Lucerne

We have been to Lucerne twice. Once when we went up to Mount Pilatus and a few days later just to walk around town. Both times the weather was far from perfect and we did not have a lot of time to explore. However, I think the best part of Lucerne is the old town and two old covered bridges over the river.

Chapel Bridge is closer to the train station and has a lot of restaurants around it. It is always crowded and it is kind of hard to take pictures without a lot of people popping up in front of the camera.

Lucerne is also lovely during the rain.

The other bridge is not as pretty as the first one, but it is lot less crowded and has some interesting art, i.e. a lot of pictures depicting all kinds of deaths.
